Product Information These sculptures are cast in a special high density resin and thermal plated with lead-free pewter. Each individual piece is hand polished by skilled craftsmen and lacquered to preserve the brilliant metal finish. The process is quite unique, and economically produces a beautiful piece of art with the look, weight and cold feel of solid metal. Sculptural products require no cleaning, just occasional dusting. At midday on the 10th of April, 1912, the Titanic was finally ready to set sail for New York. With just over 2,200 passengers and crew, she began her departure from Southampton. The rest is history.
