Product Information These ferrite clamps have been designed to try and eliminate electromagnetic and Radio Frequency interference in your electronic devices. This type of clamp consists of two halves that are, literally, clamped around a conducting wire. Ferrite is a highly permeable material and provides less resistance to the flow of magnetic flux in the conductor than air alone, so a ferrite clamp effectively absorbs some of the noise in the wire. A plastic casing has been placed around the ferrite to help protect from damage. The clamps should be fitted onto the power cable or coaxial cable as near to the electrical unit as possible. We can not guarantee that these will completely stop interference, but they should help cut it back. Depending on the type of equipment you are attaching these too, will determine how many you will need. The best way to start is to try one at a time along your cable until you no longer get interference.
